a very good book about all the inner aspects of the cd format and cd players, a bit too technnical and scientific, complex subject, but is a good book..i dont know what else to say,, lots of graphips explaning the digital audio system , not for everyone,, buy it if you really like this subject, the casual reader must be stay away from this stuff!!..long live the cd format!.. the best comercial physical audio format to date!!
A bit out of date but that's to be expected given the rate of change in the DAC/ADC world.
Although it isn't easy to understand a lot of the technology that this book explains, I think it does a good job explaining the science and technology that go into CD audio. I am not an engineer or an expert, but I have enjoyed getting my head around at least some of the aspects of how CD's and CD players work.
