With six different sections differentiated by various pastel shades, this journal is a delight on the eyes. Each "section" starts with a large scripted verse. The pages are wide lined with a different scripture at the bottom of each page. My only negative comment would be that the daily verse is in a very plain font which doesn't really go with the book but it is easy to read.I have already started using this so a keeper in this house. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher. That has not influenced my review with the thoughts and opinions above being my own. Thanks, Liz

This is a beautiful journal inside and out. The front cover has the scripture verse from Hebrews 11:1 “Now Faith is the Substance of Things Hoped For, Evidence of things Unseen.”Each page has a lovely design, and scripture inspirations. The author gives out a variety of examples of ways you can use this journal.She says, “You can write out your prayers. Use the daily scripture as a guideline if you like, or simply read and reflect on the verse and write whatever is in your heart.”“Record prayer requests and praises.”“Write out the scripture each day and reflect on it. Although I have several different types of journals that I visit often, I was on the lookout for something more than a coloring book. Prayer Journal for Women includes tons of Scripture and other extras, but it also provides a clean-lined space for my words to flow.Some of my favorite details include the color scheme of earthy greens, blues, yellows, and pinks. The subtle illustrations feature nature scenes that inspire me to reflect on all that God provides me. The size and feel of this journal are perfect for me as well. The soft cover has a nice smooth, velvety feel, and the widely spaced lines give me plenty of space for writing, while being able to easily hold the book on my lap.This journal will truly "inspire faith and deepen your prayer life" as the tagline says. What a lovely journal filled with Scripture. It can be used for prayers, thoughts, goals, or anything that helps to develop your relationship with God. The book is beautiful inside and out. I had to think on it for a while to decide how I wanted to use this journal. There are about 180 pages to journal on. My goal is to use two pages a week. On the first page I’m going to reflect on the Scripture at the bottom of the page, perhaps read further on that topic, add a favorite prayer, more Scripture, and how it pertains to me personally. Then I will set goals for that week on how I can strengthen my faith, my attitude, and my servitude. At the end of the week, on the second (facing page), I’m going to reflect on my successes and how I applied myself, my challenges, my victories, and things left undone. At two pages a week, this book will last me almost 2 years. How interesting it will be to go back to the beginning to see how far I have come. I hope you get this book for yourself and your friends. I received this book for free for an honest review. It’s one of the most meaningful books I’ve ever received. Delightful.

I love, love, love this prayer journal! The scriptures at the bottom of each page are meant to encourage and edify you with God’s truth. You can tell they have been thoughtfully chosen. I love that it’s not a complicated layout, its simplicity is what makes it so versatile. You could use this journal in a variety of ways. It can be a prayer journal where you record prayer requests and how God answered them, a gratitude journal, a study journal to jot down your thoughts as you read your bible, or a combination of things! The pages are excellent quality and the illustrations are beautiful. The colors are calm and soothing. This journal makes an excellent gift for young girls or women. You wont regret buying this!!
